Hello, here's a quick update

Dirk had his MRI yesterday and we spoke with the neurosurgeon this evening. The MRI looks clear and there were no residual tumor cells. Phew!

Even though the test looked good, Dr. Lawton is still going to refer us to a neuro-oncologist at UCSF to discuss how we will monitor Dirk in months/years to come. We're not quite sure what that entails, but it will probably mean follow up MRI's over a certain period of time to make sure that nothing reappears.

Oh boy. All I can say is we are ready for a vacation. Just kidding. Dirk has a lot of work ahead of him.
