Dirk Vlieks of Corte Madera, CA was racing on Saturday, June 3rd in a triathlon in Kona, Hawaii and suffered a major bleed in his brain. He was flown immediately to Queens Hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii and was placed in the Neuro-Intensive Care Unit there. Kelsey Vlieks, his wife, was at Dirk's side along with Dirk and Kelsey's parents. We are all hoping and praying for them and will continue to update all of their loved ones with any news.
