Marin Futures was originally established so that experienced traders could receive the specialized trade support and customer service that they need to run their businesses successfully. We provide a specific service that is extremely valuable to those who need it, but it is not right for everyone.
We are not known as a "discount brokerage", even though our rates for active traders are low and are comparable to other firms in this segment of the futures brokerage industry. We cater to the experienced, professional trader who needs a highly specified type of trade support and service that only a few firms can provide. Most of our clients are traders with at least five years of a consistent, continuous trading history or are multi-account trade managers such as commodity trading advisors, commodity pool operators or other types of fund managers.
